Thanks to the generous donation of Lamar we have a number of billboards up across Beaumont Texas. We are excited to spread our message for the fight aganist veteran homelessness. We are reaching out to Beaumont Texas locals to ask them to support our veterans. Those who do provide support to our veterans become a very real hero to veterans who bravely served our country -becuase you are helping when veterans need it most.

A little good goes a long way. Natures Sleep's generous donation helped us get our doors open. Nature Sleep filled our veteran home with 11” Ortho-Pedic Gel-Infused Memory Foam Mattresses. The mattresses came packaged in a box. Once you opened up the box it grew -a super technology- that I've only seen in Europe. A top quality mattresses. We are super proud that veterans in need of housing assistance will get to sleep on such luxury! Nature's Sleep is a family company that truly supports veterans.

According to the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration website the aim of the commemoration partnership is to: “thank and honor our nation’s Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice. Congress outlined a total of five objectives for The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration, and the primary objective is to thank and honor Vietnam veterans and their families on behalf of the nation for their service and sacrifice. The four remaining objectives highlight the service of our Armed Forces and support organizations during the war; pay tribute to wartime contributions at home by American citizens; highlight technology, science and medical advances made during the war; and recognize contributions by our Allies.”

As a proud Vietnam Commemorative Partner, Young Americans Overseas will hold two events a year in a hometown recognition of veterans. Our first event will be held November 11, 2016. We will host a luncheon for retirees and veterans. It will be held at our Veteran Supportive Living Community in Beaumont Texas.

Young Americans Overseas is not a part of, or endorsed by, the Department of Defense.

We hope to see you at the luncheon!
